On the Trail of the Wheat: Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Elazig, Malatya

Milestones of mankind will be visited on the tour route, which is planned to last for five days. On our route, following the traces of wheat in fertile lands, we will go all the way down ftom Gobeklitepe with its 12,000-year history, to Harran, which draws attention with its conical domed houses and different architecture made of wild wheat still grown on the feet of Karacadag, which is the origin of all grains, then to Sogmatara where Moses’ well, which, according to the belief, is the well Moses helped His Holiness Shuayip’s daughters water their herds, is believed to be located, then to Cayonu, the archaeology center that best reflects man's transition to a settled order, then to Hazar Lake, which is Turkey's deepest lake and known as the secret sea of ​​the East, then from Elazig to Malatya museum and then to Aslantepe Archaeological Site, where the first minimum wage is matched with a bowl of wheat, and to the journey of a wheat kernel… Following the traces of wheat in the fertile lands, the route will start from Gobeklitepe, the oldest temple known with its 12,000-year history, and then continue in Harran with its conical domed houses and its name kept unchanged for 5000 years; and then will reach Cayonu Archaeological Site by following the traces of wild wheat (einkorn - 6-row Emmer and Einkorn), which still grows on the feet of Karacadag, which is the origin of all grains. After a moment of silence in memory of Prof. Halet Cambel, one of Turkey's first female archeology professors and an Olympic medalist, at Cayonu, which is one of the best places in the world to authenticate the transition of mankind to a settled order, the transition from gathering to agriculture, our route will continue toward Hazar Lake, which is Turkey's deepest lake and known as the hidden sea of ​​the East, and toward Elazig. After seeing the works witnessing the Euphrates and the story of wheat in the Elazig Museum, one of the most important museums in the region, our route will end with the world's first city-state, the unique Aslantepe Archaeological Site, where a minimum wage is matched with a bowl of wheat (coba bowl). On this tour, which will last for five days, you will have the opportunity to visit and see the cities of Sanliurfa, Diyarbakır, Elazig and Malatya, their historical streets, bazaars and museums with extraordinarily rich materials, as well as the archaeological sites such as Gobeklitepe, Harran, Sogmatar, Cayonu and Aslantepe, and feel the story of thousands of years of culture.
